Le Centre Samara pour la d\u00e9mocratie en partenariat avec le R\u00e9seau pour l\u2019enseignement des sciences sociales du Canada (RESSC) a cr\u00e9\u00e9 des ressources p\u00e9dagogiques sur la base de leur balado Les Personnages de la Chambre<\/a> afin d’aider les \u00e9ducateurs de tous horizons \u00e0 enseigner la citoyennet\u00e9 active au Canada. Ces ressources sont con\u00e7ues pour donner aux \u00e9tudiants (et aux apprenants de tous les milieux) les moyens d’\u00e9valuer la d\u00e9mocratie canadienne et de participer \u00e0 son renforcement. Elles constituent \u00e9galement un moyen accessible d’am\u00e9liorer les programmes d’\u00e9tudes et les programmes sur la politique et la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 canadiennes.<\/p>\n

Wanting to give a human face to your teaching of governance in Canada? \u201cHumans of the House\u201d explores questions like \"What inspires a person to run for office? Is the House of Commons a \u2018good\u2019 and \u2018effective\u2019 workplace? Through exit interviews of former MPs and background information about the work and lives of those we elect to the House of Commons, Samara Center for Democracy\u2019s 6-episode podcast series Humans of the House<\/i><\/a>\u00a0 and 2-part series in French, Les Personnages de la Chambre<\/i><\/a> provide insight covering themes such as the decision to run for office, on-the-job learning, toxicity in the workplace, party loyalty, and barriers to working effectively while in office.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>

The Samara Center partnered with the Social Studies Educators Network of Canada to develop learning resources to use in the classroom that feature pre-listening and enrichment activities<\/p>
