Ce congr\u00e8s est organis\u00e9 par la Korean War Legacy Foundation (KWLF). Cette ann\u00e9e, les personnes pr\u00e9sentes repr\u00e9sentaient 19 des 22 pays qui ont particip\u00e9 \u00e0 la guerre de Cor\u00e9e. Un participant venait de Slov\u00e9nie, qui faisait partie de l’URSS pendant la guerre de Cor\u00e9e.<\/span><\/p>\n Le R\u00e9seau pour l\u2019enseignement des sciences sociales du Canada (SSENC\/RESSC) s’est associ\u00e9 \u00e0 la KWLF pour permettre \u00e0 cinq enseignants et enseignantes de partout au Canada d\u2019assister au congr\u00e8s mondial. De nombreux pays ont fait part d’exp\u00e9riences similaires sur la fa\u00e7on dont les programmes traitent la guerre de Cor\u00e9e comme un ajout ou lui accordent tr\u00e8s peu de temps. L’une des pr\u00e9sentations portait sur l’importance de la g\u00e9ographie et de la place de la Cor\u00e9e du Sud dans le monde d’aujourd’hui. There were many similar experiences from many different countries about how the curriculum treats the Korean War as an add on or gives it very little time. One of the presentations was about the importance of the geography and place of South Korea in the World today.
