Other key positions include the Secretary, Treasurer, and Past-President, each contributing to the leadership and strategic direction of SSENC.<\/p>\n
In addition to electing officers, the AGM is the official forum for member organizations to submit the names of their representatives\u2014and for the first time this year, alternates who may attend board meetings as observers. Since SSENC is a network of organizations rather than individuals, it\u2019s vital that each member group across Canada designates teachers and educators who can speak on behalf of their provincial or territorial association.<\/p>\n
Member organizations will also receive updates from SSENC\u2019s committees and workgroups, including financial reports and strategic priorities. Member organizations get a chance to ask questions regarding the activities within these sub-groups.
